Norway's BREED Parts Ways With Singer

June 20, 2008

Norwegian metal band BREED has parted ways with singer Maurice Adams. "There is no secret that the band have struggled this past year and things have more or less been status quo, due to loss of drummers and difficulties within the band," BREED writes in a statement. "The most difficult part to handle is the constant disagreements and differences in views on how things should be done. This makes the crative prosess very difficult and it steals away the joy of being in a band.

"Without placing blame on one person, BREED will go on and hope for the continued support from you people, who have discovered us and filled us with energy and belief that our music is wanted. We will start the search for the right person to fill the spot of lead singer right away, and we are confidant that once we have found the right person our new material will lead us away from status quo and on to great things ahead.

"The band is on the lookout for a replacement, and if YOU feel that you have what it takes you can get in touch with the band here: [email protected]."

BREED's video for the song "Remember My Name", which is featured on the band's self-titled debut album (Facefront Records) from 2007, can be viewed below.
